Weathercube is the gestural weather app for iPhone. No buttons; just swipe, pinch and tap your way through the weather. The revolutionary design and great usability makes it both fun and functional. We did all the work, so you have all the fun. It's clean, simple, hot and fresh at the same time!
Weathercube is a weather app like you've never seen before. Everything likes to be touched; so swipe, pinch and tap that thing! The basic view shows concise information to check your personal weather in a glance. Tap a block and it will spin to reveal more detailed geeky specifications like a Rubik's cube. Swipe to switch from day to day. Tap or swipe the current city name to spin to the next city.
The basic idea of Weathercube is a gestural, easy to use, beautiful app to quickly check the weather forecast. 'Less is more' sounds pretty cliché, but it is one of the main things we wanted to keep in the back of our mind while developing Weathercube. We also want it to be fun. So we added a lot of nice animations and interactive stuff. You'll get the hang of it in no time.
The crunching gears of Weathercube
Creating clean apps that work like they are supposed to, isn’t as easy as it seems. Behind the scenes we are constantly checking performance and usability while optimizing every little detail. Weathercube uses tons of data from over 1.7 million cities around the globe to keep the app more accurate than a Swiss watch. We did all the work, so you have all the fun!
